2013 Oak Hollow Open (Registration Closed – Email Phil for wait list)

The 2013 Oak Hollow Open is coming up soon! The dates are August 17th & 18th and the event will retain its format of the past few years, with one exception…  This year, the Oak Hollow Open is a USDGC Qualifier!!

“What!? What!?”, you might ask.  Yes, one person from the field will qualify to represent the State of NC at this year’s USDGC Performance Edition Tournament.  Requirements to qualify are:

Player must have an 875 or higher rating prior to the OHO
Player must be an NC State resident
Player must be a propagator for PDGA Events (your rating will be in bold on the PDGA event page)
Player must register for the USDGC within 30 days of being awarded the spot

Scoring for the OHO will be the same as it always has been but the qualifying player for the USDGC spot will be determined based on the same handicap system used at the USDGC Performance Edition; which basically means the player who most out performs their personal player rating at the Oak Hollow Open (and also meets the criteria listed above) will be awarded the qualifying spot.

Questions regarding the USDGC qualifier spot should be directed to our NC State Representative, Robert Leonard at 919-389-5780

Once again, all divisions will be playing 2 rounds at Festival Park (the legendary temp course that only exists for 3 days a year and only for this event) and 2 rounds at Johnson St.

Festival Park will be open for practice and casual play after noon on Friday August 16th.

Tournament is now full.  Contact Phil Lawrence at: phil@oakhollowdgc.com to get added to the waiting list.
